This record states the site's current accessibility target, implemented features, testing status, known limitations, alternative-format pathway, and barrier-reporting process.
Neurosexology.org is designed toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. A conformance claim will be made only after an appropriate audit supports it.
Current public record
Digital access is treated as an ongoing design and governance responsibility. Barriers are correction-sensitive records, not personal failures or optional polish.
The design target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Current internal checks support progress toward that target, but the site does not claim full accessibility, WCAG conformance, certification, or universal compatibility.
Primary navigation, mobile menu, carousel controls, disclosures, links, and local-only tools are intended to operate from the keyboard with visible focus. Escape closes the mobile navigation and returns focus to its button.
Pages use a skip link, header, navigation, main, footer, one primary heading, ordered heading levels, lists, tables, labels, live regions where state changes, and current-page or expanded-state semantics where applicable.
Layouts use relative sizing and responsive reflow so text can enlarge without requiring two-dimensional scrolling for ordinary reading. Color is not the only carrier of status or meaning. Contrast remains subject to formal audit.
The site avoids motion required for understanding and includes reduced-motion rules. Important content is not hover-only, timed, flashing, or dependent on animation.
Carousels expose named buttons, position updates, horizontal keyboard navigation, touch scrolling, and a linear no-script reading order. Disclosure summaries remain visible and printable.
Meaningful images receive concise alternatives; decorative elements are hidden from assistive technology. Diagrams are accompanied by equivalent text and do not carry an essential claim alone.
The Ten Central Tenets downloads are portable versions of the canonical HTML record, not the sole accessible source. Each link identifies the format, version, and approximate purpose. Formal tagged-PDF validation remains incomplete.
Future audio or video must include accurate captions or transcripts and must not make essential knowledge available only through the time-based medium.
Independent audit, high-contrast-mode review, multiple screen-reader review, switch and voice-control testing, PDF/UA validation, and broad browser testing remain incomplete. These absences prevent a conformance claim.
Wave-level review currently includes Chromium-based desktop and mobile-sized browser checks, keyboard interaction, semantic inspection, responsive overflow checks, and reduced-motion CSS inspection. VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, TalkBack, Safari, and Firefox require a documented later audit before public release.
Ask for a plain-text, simplified, large-text, or other reasonable alternative by email. Do not include a medical history; describe the page or format barrier and the useful alternative.
Report the page, interaction, device or browser if useful, and what prevented access. Attribution is optional and a diagnosis is never required.
